Due to Jack's crazy and impossible family, we have finalized our holiday travel plans. We really wanted to go to Waco on Thanksgiving and then to Alexandria on Friday, but it was getting really difficult. I wanted Aida to go with us to Waco, and Jack wanted to leave from Waco to head to LA, but that would mean Aida would have to ride back to Dallas with Mom, and I didn't think she would go if she had to to that. Jack has to be in New Orleans next week, but he's going to have to stay in Baton Rouge and commute back and forth each day. He is leaving tomorrow and wasn't going to come home till sometime Saturday (maybe). And he's driving because there is no guarantee of a rental car in New Orleans. So I thought it was totally stupid for him to go down there and come back and then take off again, so I booked a flight to leave Friday afternoon and he could just pick me up at 6:00 at the airport, and we could stay with his aunt and uncle that night so I can see them. Then we could drive to Lafayette to see Mary and Stan and deliver the ginger ale to them, then make our way to Alexandria/Winnfield and have a Thanksgiving with his family there. I think it's perfect. It puts time restraints on us, which I think is great. That leaves us free to go to Waco, and to take Aida...and Alli. And, if I want to, I can go to AT on Friday and make some extra $$$. I'm excited. It's my perfect plan.
I finished my book today. Now I have to look for another one. Oh, there's a Nicholas Sparks book calling my name!
